Non-Discrimination and Program Accessibility

Cascade Medical Center does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, medical condition, or ability to pay for care; patients will receive the care they need and everything that is ordered by a physician or other provider. In addition, Cascade Medical Center and all of its programs and activities are accessible to and useable by disabled persons.

Visitation and Support

Visitation of patients is an extremely important aspect of Cascade Medical Center’s care and healing culture. Visitation depends on the patient’s condition, the patient’s visitation preferences, the prevention of infection, and at the discretion of the healthcare team. CMC strives to ensure designated visitors enjoy full and equal visitation privileges consistent with patient privileges and will not restrict, limit, or otherwise deny privileges on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.

Patients have the right to consent and decline visitation without discrimination and to designate an individual to be their patient representative or support person.
