Cascade Medical Center (CMC) is contracted to provide 24/7 job-site medical care at the Stibnite Mine, located near Yellow Pine, Idaho, approximately three hours northeast of Cascade. This is an extremely remote and mountainous environment with limited access to medical resources.
Beginning in January 2027, CMC will staff the on-site clinic 24/7 with two medical professionals: one Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) and one Nurse or EMS professional (EMT-B, EMT-A, or Paramedic). CMC staff will work closely with Perpetua’s on-site safety team and an EMS agency to provide medical care to construction and mine workers.
The selected Nurses, EMT-Bs, EMT-As, and Paramedics must be prepared to assess and respond to a wide range of medical conditions and injuries that could be encountered in an urgent care or emergency room setting. Emergency room experience is required.
Four Nurses/EMS professionals will split the schedule evenly, with each employee working a 1-week-on, 3-weeks-off rotation. During their week on site, each employee will remain on site for seven consecutive days and be available 24 hours per day to respond to medical issues as they arise.
Compensation and benefits are competitive with full-time Emergency Room Nurse and Medic positions.
